Brita is a 4 month female shepherd that was turned into the local
SPCA here in Charleston. Her owner claimed that she no longer had time for her.
Brita is a wonderful loving girl that is being fostered in a home with small children, a cat, and 3 other dogs. She is crate trained and whines when she has to go outside. We are not quite sure if she is 100% housebroken, but so far so good! She is extremely loving and follows her foster mom everywhere. She likes to jump up and will need someone to teach her basic obedience.

| My name is Chase and I am about 3-4 years old. I am crate trained, housebroken and get along well with other dogs. Especially my foster sister! I love to run in the yard and will chase a ball endlessly if you will throw it for me. I have been neutered (ouch!) and I have had all of my shots. I live with a 3 year old and a newborn too! I listen very well and love to be pet.
I do have a neurological condition that was caused from the saliva of a racoon. Pretty weird, hey? Anyways, it has not affected my health in any way and I do not need any medication. The only problem I have, is that I look like a puppy trying to walk that has not quite grown into their big paws yet. What's a dog to do? So needless to say...I am just plain clumsy! Please do not let me condition scare you! I am a great boy with lots of heart just wanting a family to call my own.

| My foster mommy calls me Stash and I'm about 10 months old now. I was rescued from a shelter that deemed me "unadoptable." They said I was too shy and very fearful of people. What's a puppy to do? I wasn't treated very well and just needed time to learn that people aren't so bad after all. I'm still working on that. I LOVE my pack at my foster home. I have 4 other dog friends there and boy do we have fun! Did I mention I'm house trained and crate trained? I need to learn a bit of obedience, but my foster mom tells me everyday how smart I am. So that shouldn't be a problem if you are willing to work with me. One more thing...I have really great hearing! My foster mom says too good, I'm not sure what she means by that. If I hear something or someone comes over and I don't know who they are I will let you know. I'm not so sure about letting strange people in my house. My foster mom tells me it's okay, but I have to feel them out for myself. Can't blame a dog for looking out for his family can you? If you are looking for a young man that needs a bit of training, but will be a great companion to you and your family, then that's me! |

| Unfortunately, my family had to return me back to the rescue. Not because I was a bad girl, but because my human baby sister was allergic to me. My family is so sad and so am I. My dad taught me so many things. I know German and English commands. Pretty smart I am! I slept in my kennel at my old house and went to the door when I needed to go outside. The only problem I have is these darn ears of mine! I so badly want them to stand up, but my mommy told me to be patient that they are almost there. I can hardly wait to grow into them. I had 3 human sisters all under the age of 7. When I was by the baby I would roll over onto my back to show her that I would not hurt her. My mommy called it submitting to the baby. What ever that means! I didn't have a fenced yard but I stayed right where I was supposed to. Right now I am living with 3 other dogs and we play all of the time. I have been spayed, microchipped, and have had all of my shots. So now I just need a home where I can stay forever. |

Hercules was born September 25, 2007. He weighs approximately 75 pounds. Hercules is on Interceptor heartworm medication and Comfortis (oral flea preventive) given on the first of the month. He loves to eat and needs attention. Hercules is neutered and up-to-date on his shots. Hercules loves to play ball and chase his siblings.
